animals (Internationale Photoszene 1998)

portraits of animals are a favoured suject in photography. the participating artists answered and open call for this groupshow fulfilling special criteria. the central topic of the show is the portrait of animals as the soulfoul "cum"-being with a complex social behaviour and it's own specific intelligence and consciousness. you will find no photo works in this exhibition, that belittle, humanize, mock, purely document or portrait animals in a kitschy way. shown are photographic works, that represent a respectfull perspective on animals and various complex relationships with human beings.
